As passionate supporters of Equestrian sport it is hugely rewarding to continue as long standing sponsors of the GB Junior Eventing team and supporters of the GB Teams. Every year it is a pleasure to see the wealth of young British talent develop and we wish them all the very best of luck.
The purpose of the Racesafe Junior Programme is to identify talented junior riders and their horses that may have the potential for international recognition and to provide help and encouragement to develop that talent and potential.
The Junior Selectors and the Junior Team Coach will be
working closely with the U18 Regional Co-ordinators and
Regional Coaches who will be helping to identify suitably
talented combinations from the U18 Novice Programme.
If it is possible, the Selectors may invite riders to travel
abroad for experience to events in Europe in the spring
or early summer. These trips will be self-funding.
In the summer of 2015, a squad will be chosen to represent
Great Britain at the Junior European Championships. These will
take place in Bialy Bor, Poland from 13-16 August 2015.
Whilst these Championships will represent the peak for
the chosen squad, every effort will be made for all who
participate in the Programme, to gain from the education
and the competition and to have fun whilst doing so.
The programme is managed by Chairman of Selectors
Darrell Scaife, assisted by Ginnie Keen. Coaching will be delivered by national under 18 coach, Caroline Moore
